buckles and seals for strapping
For the professional fastening / connecting of the different strapping bands from our range, various buckles and seals are available to make a solid connection. When you have wrapped a strapping around the pallet or products, it must finally be tightly tied together and possibly sealed. For PP or PET or steel strapping, this can also be done with a heat seal or compression (steel strapping) but usually with metal straps or metal strapping seals with manual straps.
For woven polyester strapping (PE) and PP strapping straps you can use the metal buckles for the heavier applications. The plastic buckles are used for the manual tightening of PE-PP straps for light applications.
Metal seals (usually with profile) are used for pinching / squeezing the strapping ends using a pliers or a combined tensioner / seal. PET strapping is usually tensioned and fused together with an automatic tensioner such as a Zapak vibro tensioner. Benefit from the favorable price levels on stamps and buckles.
