stretch wrapping film is the most common material to protect products for transport and storage while securing the load on the pallet. Wrapping pallets with foil is cheap, efficient and safe. Stretch wrap film is easy and without much force to be processed by every employee in your company. Preferably use a film dispenser such as a Fixtool to manually wrap stretch wrapping film around the pallet as ergonomically as possible. Make sure that the inside of the roll also remains on the inside of the pallet when you walk around the pallet. The inside of stretch wrapping film / stretch film is usually slightly adhesive. When this layer of stretch film is on the outside, pallets can possibly stick together during transport.

Stretch film is available in various thicknesses, qualities and colours. The stretchfilm is available as hand rolls, machine rolls for pallet wrappers, mini rolls, bundle film and can be supplied to size if required if the stretch film is sufficient. Stretch wrapping films with holes (perforated film) and net film or wrapping net are also available for special applications.

The choice for the type of stretch wrap film is mainly a matter of testing. The weight and type of pallet products are the most important factors.

Colored stretch wrap / stretch film is usually used for product/pallet blinding or visual pallet recognition.
